Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre seeks a creative and enthusiastic student to research and share the architectural and anecdotal history of the landmark rail station in Haliburton Village, home to our public art gallery since 1980. We are located at the head of the Haliburton County Rail Trail and a charter member of Friends of the Rail Trail, a local group devoted to connecting community and rail trail since 2007.

You must be creative, well-spoken, outgoing, organized, energetic and interested in capturing, preserving and sharing local stories of the past. An interest in cycling, rail trail recreation and architecture would be ideal. Weekend work required.

Knowledge of the Haliburton Highlands cultural scene is an asset. Learn about us at www.railsendgallery.com
