With over 25 years of workshop experience, solo shows, group shows, commissions, sales international and domestic John David Anderson has made his mark in the plein air world as a teacher, a painter and a jurist. "Painting is a way for me to share the excitement of juicy paint presenting the dynamics of light on surfaces in a space both in subtleness and power."
Laurie Jones
An experienced gallerist, Laurie is interested in the rising popularity of "en plein air" painting among artists and the power of place to inspire creativity. She has been bringing the creative arts to life at Rails End Gallery with engaging exhibitions and programming for over 15 years as its Curator and Executive Director.
One must get out to paint en plein air- whether it's in your back yard on the main street, a park or into the wild.
