A professional Stained Glass Artist for 42 yrs and Jewellery Designer for 16 yrs. Innovative design incorporating ‘found objects’, whimsical accents and rare items collected on her world travels, keeps Chris’ work fresh, exciting and interpretive of classical design.
Chris specializes in commissions, custom work and restoration from her fully equipped glass studio in Port Hope. In her separate jewellery studio, working primarily in silver and copper, Chris uses several different techniques to create individual components to put into her designs. She collects rare and unusual beads, shells and gems from around the world. Using Wort Hog horns from Africa, antique tribal silver from Afghanistan and Pakistan, talismans and ancient beads from Tibet and the Himalayas and black pearls from Tahiti, her creativity never stops !
Her relaxation time is at her cottage in Haliburton, with her husband and standard poodle, Sir Lancelot, who loves to canoe !
