Finished Painting PersonHaliburton Visual Arts Students’ Exhibition

Opening Reception Saturday May 27 from 2:30 until 4 pm

“Peace of Mine” is the title of an exhibition of new work by Haliburton Highlands Secondary School Visual Arts Students at Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre  from  May 27 until June 11.
This year the public art gallery, located in Haliburton’s landmark rail station, welcomes artists from the grade 11 painting  and grade 12 portfolio classes. Over the school term the students worked under the guidance of Visual Arts teacher, Karen Gervais, to prepare the show from start to finish; selecting the theme, creating a show image, developing their artist statements and creating the works of art. Each student will have an opportunity to speak about their art and answer questions from the audience at the Opening Reception for “Peace of Mine” Saturday  May 27 from 2:30 until 4 pm. Come out and be inspired by our young artists!

Peace of Mine runs until June 11.
