Cori Lee Marvin Watercolours — Visual Art
Cori Lee Marvin is an artist and illustrator living in Port Hope, Ontario. With watercolour as her chosen medium, she creates vibrant, detailed paintings ranging from whimsical animal illustration to beautiful, contemplative still-life.. Many of her pieces show how intriguing visual stories are created when nature and wildlife bump up against the elements and backdrops of our human world.
Cori Lee has been working as a full-time artist for 15 years. She has worked as a freelance illustrator and contributed to a number of educational children’s books. As a participant in many fine art shows across Ontario, and in addition to the 2013 Best in Watercolour at the TOAE, Cori has also recently been awarded first prize at the New Art Festival in Ottawa, Best in Painting at the Haliburton Art and Craft Festival and The Carolyn McIntire Smyth Special Award at the Cabbagetown Festival in Toronto.
